Every organization carries critical knowledge in two forms: the documents it stores and the expertise in its people. Both quietly drift out of date. The drive fills with files nobody is sure are current. The people who actually know how things work move teams, or leave.
Most tools pick a side. A wiki is a better place to put documents. An LMS proves a course was assigned. Neither keeps the knowledge alive in the people who need it, and neither tells you, honestly, who is ready right now.
