Adding Lessons to a Module

Lessons are the organizational units within a module. Each lesson groups related questions around a specific topic.

Creating a New Lesson

  1. From the Staff Portal, open the module you want to edit.
  2. Click Lessons in the module menu.
  3. Click Create Lesson.
  4. Enter the lesson name and any optional settings.
  5. Save the lesson.

Adding Lesson Instructions

  1. Open the lesson from the module’s lesson list.
  2. Click Instructions in the lesson menu.
  3. Click Edit to write or update the lesson instructions.
  4. Instructions are shown to students when they view the lesson details.
  5. Save your changes.

Reordering Lessons

  1. From the module’s Lessons page, click Order.
  2. Drag and drop lessons to rearrange their order.
  3. Save the new order.

The lesson order determines how they appear in the module for students.

Deleting a Lesson

  1. Open the lesson you want to remove.
  2. Click Delete and confirm the action.
  3. All questions within the lesson will also be removed.

Tips

  • Keep lessons focused on a single topic for better learning outcomes.
  • Use lesson instructions to give students context about what they will be learning.
  • You can add knowledge base documents to individual lessons to support AI question generation.
