Creating a New Module

The Module Builder guides you through creating a learning module step by step. You can upload reference documents, define learning objectives, and let AI generate the initial content.

Step-by-step

  1. From the Staff Portal, click Module Builder in the navigation.
  2. Click New to start a new module builder draft.
  3. Follow the wizard steps:

Step 1: References

  • Upload documents (PDFs or other files) that contain the knowledge for your module.
  • Add website URLs as additional reference sources.
  • Wait for documents to finish processing before proceeding.

Step 2: Objectives

  • Define the learning objectives for your module – what should students know after completing it?

Step 3: Wizard (AI Generation)

  • Click Build to let AI generate a module template based on your references and objectives.
  • Wait for the generation to complete. This may take a few minutes.

Step 4: Review

  • Review the generated template, which includes suggested lessons and question structures.
  • Edit the template to adjust lesson names, topics, or structure as needed.
  • Save your changes.

Step 5: Build

  • Click Build to generate the final module with lessons and questions.
  • Wait for the build to complete.
  • Once finished, your module is ready for review in the Staff Portal.

Tips

  • Upload high-quality reference documents for better AI-generated content.
  • You can always edit, add, or remove questions after the module is built.
  • You can also create modules manually without the Module Builder by going to Staff Portal > Create Module and adding lessons and questions one at a time.
