Generating Questions with LoopyAI

LoopyAI can automatically generate assessment questions for your lessons based on uploaded knowledge base documents. This speeds up content creation significantly.

Prerequisites

Before generating questions, you need:

  • A module with at least one lesson.
  • Knowledge base documents uploaded to the lesson or module. LoopyAI uses these documents as the source material for generating questions.

Step-by-step

  1. From the Staff Portal, open your module and navigate to the lesson.
  2. Ensure the lesson has knowledge base documents attached. If not, go to Knowledge Base in the lesson menu and upload documents first.
  3. Click Generate in the lesson menu.
  4. LoopyAI will process the documents and generate questions. This may take a few minutes depending on the amount of content.
  5. Generated questions appear in the Staging area for your review.

Reviewing Staged Questions

  1. Click Staging in the lesson menu to see the generated questions.
  2. Review each question for accuracy and quality.
  3. Delete any questions that are not suitable.
  4. Click Deploy to activate the approved questions. Deployed questions will appear in students’ loops.

Question Types

LoopyAI can generate several types of questions:

  • Multiple Choice – Select the correct answer from several options.
  • True/False – Determine whether a statement is true or false.
  • Fill in the Blank – Complete a sentence with the missing word or phrase.

Tips

  • Higher quality reference documents produce better questions. Use clear, well-structured content.
  • Always review generated questions before deploying. AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors.
  • You can edit any generated question before or after deploying it.
  • Knowledge base documents must be uploaded before generation – LoopyAI requires source material and will not generate content without it.
