How to Edit and Manage Questions on HeyLoopy

Learn how to create, edit, activate, and delete questions on HeyLoopy. Manage your assessment content across modules and lessons.

Managing Questions

Questions are the core assessment content on HeyLoopy. You can create questions manually, edit existing ones, and control which questions are active for members.

Viewing Questions

  1. From the Staff Portal, open a module.
  2. Click Questions in the module menu to see all questions across the module.
  3. Or navigate to a specific lesson and click Questions to see that lesson’s questions only.

Creating Questions Manually

  1. Open a lesson within a module.
  2. Click Questions, then click Create.
  3. Select the question type:
    • Multiple Choice: Members select the correct answer from options.
    • True/False: Members determine if a statement is true or false.
    • Fill in the Blank: Members complete a sentence.
    • Sorting: Members arrange items in the correct order.
    • Pairing: Members match related items.
    • Image Selection: Members select the correct image.
  4. Enter the question content, answers, and any explanations.
  5. Save the question.

Activating and Deactivating Questions

  • Activate a question to make it appear in member loops. Click the activate button on the question.
  • Deactivate a question to temporarily remove it from loops without deleting it.

Editing Questions

  1. Click on a question to open its detail page.
  2. Click Edit to modify the question content, answers, or explanations.
  3. Save your changes.

Previewing Questions

  • Click Preview to see how a question will appear to members before activating it.
  • Use Live Preview for an interactive test of the question.

Deleting Questions

  1. Click Delete on the question you want to remove.
  2. Confirm the deletion. This action is permanent.

Tips

  • Always preview questions before activating them to catch formatting issues.
  • Use a mix of question types within a lesson for more effective learning.
  • If members report a question, review and fix it promptly to maintain content quality.
