To delete your HeyLoopy account and associated data, email hello@heyloopy.com from the email address associated with your account. We will confirm deletion within 7 business days. The following data is permanently deleted: profile info (name, email), learning progress + history, chat messages, and your team membership. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained for product improvement purposes.

When your deletion request is processed, the following data is permanently deleted from our active systems:

After your account-level data is deleted, we may retain aggregated and anonymized analytics derived from your activity (e.g., overall drill-completion rates across cohorts, average mastery curves) for product-improvement purposes. This retained data does not include any personally identifying information and cannot be re-linked to your account.
We may also retain limited records where required by law (for example, tax or accounting records relating to payments processed through Stripe). These records do not include learning content or activity history.
In short: Confirmation within 7 business days. Backups age out within 30 days.
We will confirm your deletion within 7 business days of receiving your request. Personal data is removed from active systems by that point. Encrypted backup snapshots are typically aged out within 30 days as part of our standard backup-rotation schedule; during that window, data remains isolated from any further processing and is overwritten when the backup ages out.
In short: Account-level deletion is for your personal record. Team-level data lives in the organization’s account.
If you are the administrator of a team or organization on HeyLoopy, deleting your individual account does not delete the team’s content (modules, drills, organization-level training records). To delete an entire team or organization, the account owner should email hello@heyloopy.com and request organization-level termination — please reference your organization name in the email so we can identify the correct account.
